I love the acquisition of Marquis Daniels. He's had a couple of down seasons due to an injury from a couple of seasons ago, but I think this past season was mostly due to the fact that the Mavs had worked him out of the rotation. I think he'll be his old self again with the Pacers. If they manage to get Al Harrington, and J.O. doesn't complain about playing center, they should be able to contend in the east. I think a lineup of Tinsley, Daniels, Jackson, Harrington, and O'neal would be pretty formidable in the east...even in the rest of the league.

they will go 42-40, and probably not make it out of first round of playoffa. they lost peja so they have nothing to show for ron artest trade. however they are on al harringtons list of teams other then golden state to possible sign with. o'neal must also stay healthy, if o'neal doesnt have a strong season the pacers will not make the nba playoffs.

the pacers will surely do better than last year. if they get al harrington, i think they will challenge the pistons and heat for east supremacy...
no forward duo can match-up against a j.o. - al harrington combo, not even in the west... they also added marquis daniels and orien greene, both very versatile players who can play 3 positions... darrell armstrong could also be a big help in the locker room with his leadership...

46-36. They will make the playoffs. J. O'Neal will do his thing. They will be 6th seed, at best. I wouldn't look for them to be contenders at this point. But they will be good.
Probably won't advance out of the 1st round, unless they make another big acquisition. There is a slim chance they could upset and make the Eastern semis.

they will be contenders but it will be hard to beat the heat
I think that if they play the pistons in the playoffs they will win because the pistons lost Ben so its gonna open up the lane for J.O. to dominate.
But i dont see them getting past the heat or bulls
but they will do pretty good

they lost ron artest then peja. then fred jones. i dont think they will do that great this year. o'neal just needs to get out of there as fast as he can and never look back. this year i see them getting knocked out of the playoffs in round one if they get that far.
