Your puppies have decided that since here is no other pack leader, that they can rule themselves.
YOU have to take control as pack leader. If you are a young person, living with parents, get your parents to be with you as you do this..
You can do this quite easily, but it is time consuming and requires Consistency.
First of all..Pick up the food dish...don't ever put it down during this training period.
Your puppies will eat ONLY what you give them from your hand.
Put a leash on each of them..this helps you move them as needed, and also shows them that you can control them..
If they become aggressive while you are feeding them, quickly, take the aggressor and put him in the other room, and ignore him while you feed the innocent one..Then, bring out the other (after only a few minutes) and try feeding them again.. every-time a squabble breaks out, take the offender to the other room for a time-out.
be sure to serve up their normal amount of food before you begin, so that they get a good meal...
Pups of this age need fed 3 times per day..so that is why this method is time consuming...but, you are setting the ground rules that will help all the rest of their lives, so it is well worth it!
this normally takes just 2 days or so, but pit bulls may take a bit longer. if there are other family members, get them involved, as they need to be masters as well.
Pups are even so much happier when they accept their owner as master.
Now that you have their attention, it is a good time to begin basic obedience training.. if you need help with basic obedience, e-mail me..

Unfortuneatly your other friends here are right. Pit Bulls are bred for fighting. It is already in there blood. The female wants to be dominant and so does the male. Ok maybe it is all rough play now. Soon one will bring blood and that one will have to be put down more then likely because next it will be a child. These dogs strive on blood. That is just their nature. Do not fight these dogs because in most states it is illegal now and especially fighting and bidding. You have a disaster awaiting for you if you continue to keep both dogs. Either seperate them and do not let them back together again or around other dogs because eventually they will attack another dog. This too is in their blood lines, It doesn't take much to get these dogs to fight. Unfortunatly people are the ones that suffer too. If you choose to keep these dogs may I suggest that the male you keep strictly for their services and you will make money. Keep the female seperate and breed her to other dog owners. The money is good in doing so. These dogs do not make very good companions for pets though. My best friends sister had one not mean or anything. Two summers ago the dog took my knee almost totally off. After that she started attacking children because of the taste of blood. They had to put her down. Bearer of bad news. Rather the dogs then you, your family or friends. Take heed to what the majority of us or telling you for your own safety as well.

half of the answers to this question are from people who are truly ignorant about the breed. this is a problem some pit bull owners face. www.pbrc.net is a great pit bull resource..
It is important to recognize this behavior for what it is, and not assume that a) it will get better b) re-introductions will resolve it or c) that it is the end of the world. All too frequently, owners get lost in the "but why" "they used to love each other" "perhaps if I do X.Y. or Z, it will change." The reality is that this breed has selectively been bred to be aggressive towards other dogs. Whether or not your dog previously showed this behavior is not relevant anymore. You must take action to prevent fights and maintain the safety of your pets from this point forward.
So, what can you do now that you have accepted this reality?

Some good answers above. A principal problem is that you need to work with each of the dogs as individuals and teach them self control.
Having sibling dogs is often not a good idea. If you raise one at a time, the older one would have learned some self control before the second one came along. Now you have two to deal with at once and do it in stereo.

You should also contact your dogs' breeder, and if they are ethical breeders, they will advise you more specifically for what you should do. And will also realize that placing siblings in some homes is not a great idea.

You got some very good advice above me, and I would definately try it out...
If all else fails, I suggest having them both neutered/spayed, that may help a bit, or just keep one.
dogs are the way YOU make them, no matter what the breed.
If you don't want an aggressive dog, don't let them continue fighting...
Also, if one of them is bleeding, i suggest take it to a vet, if its bad!

Seems like you have two dominant dogs there, and neither one wants to back down. Because of the nature of the breed, I would consider selling one of them- you would know how determined they can be to get the job done. You can't teach a dog not to fight. Especially a dog that was bred specifically for that purpose.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(

Pittbulls are not pets! They are too dangerous, especially when they have tasted blood. When the two of them are fighting there will be blood eventually.
My personal opinion - which I am pretty sure you will not agree with, but I have to say it - is to sacrifice them both before major damage is done. Can you imagine how you will feel when they attack and maybe even kill a child?

the dogs are fighting for the same reason adolecent boys fight on the playground. They are establishing a pecking order to find out who eats first, who gets more attention etc. Dogs are pack animals and they work it out on their own. They are just finding their role in their pack. Most of training a dog is about establishing that the human is the alpha male, no arguements.

You need to become the pack leader. Dogs are pack animals they need a leader, you need to become that leader. When training my pit I took the food bowl up and he ate when I told him he could. Before I let him play with another dog for the first time I put him on a leash to see how they got along. I'm lucky my pit gets alone with all animals. My mixed breed dose not she is a mix lab and ridge back and far meaner than the 95lb pit. Chetco is a dog trainer that answers questions on here and he is good. We do not see eye to eye on things but I would let him train my dogs.

Are you sure they're fighting? they're still very young and might just be playing rough like most siblings. Sometimes it looks like fighting. If they don't draw blood I would let them sort it out themselves, after awhile they will figure out who is going to be the dominant dog and get over it.
