we have a desktop connected to a cable modem surfboard, which controls both the internet and cable tv. i just got a brand new laptop and i have no idea how to connect it to the internet. i don't care if i have to unplug the desktop from the internet to do it. the only cords given to me with the laptop are a USB port, which i don't know where to hook up. also, i was given two other dial up cords (i think) please help

My just son just turned 13 and his hair is out of control. He refuse's to get it cut and I totally believe in being yourself and your own person. I don't even want him to get it all cut off just thinned out maybe. His hair doesn't grow long just grow's out cuz it's so wavy and thick. Is there anything he could put in it to tame it down. We try hair gel, spray's, pomade. Anyone have any suggestion's? And I'm all for long hair on guy's but his is just so wild. Thanks!!

Just a late night silly survey. If you own a car, what are some of the items in it right now (or usually)?

Mine has a toddler seat, bit of trash jammed under the seats, toys out the ying-yang (kids), black tribal skull seat covers, a life sized (and realistic looking) Iguana stuck up on the dashboard (good luck charm, plus I love the looks it gets), first-aide kit, CDs (most now loose without covers and sliding around in the glove dept. box to my husband's horror), and other needed stuff for emergencies and 'just in case' scenerios.

Hey well First of I am not gay, bi, curious or anything else like that. I don't know what the hell happened. I was hanging out talking with my fiance's dad got really drunk, and the next morning I woke up naked in bed with him. I know what you're gonna say that how do I know that we actually did anything together. Trust me I know. I wont say how, but I know. I didn't say anything to her dad when I woke up. He was still asleep so I just left. I just don't know what to do. We're getting married next month. I know I have to tell her. I also know it's really gonna **** things up. I just don't know how to tell her, or what to do. Also, I don't know how to face her dad, and discuss it. Someone please help me with this mess. If anyone has any advice or can relate to my situation I'd love to hear it.

In baseball, the ball is throw at an average of around 90 miles per hour (for a fastball). When that 90 MPH fastball hits the dirt, the pitcher almost always gets a new ball from the umpire. Why is it that when that ball is coming at an average of 90 miles an hour, and comes off the bat at approximately 120 MPH and is beaten into the ground, the pitcher gets the same ball after getting it back?

and I'm not! It really bugs me! I'm afraid I look like one of those really skinny girls that you look at and go "YUCK!" When ever I eat more, it just sort of goes in the very front of my stomache and you can't really notice. I need some fat in my arms, legs, face, mostly overall body! I've been trying to gain muscle to look better, but that's not as easy as it sounds. I wish the answer was just as easy as eating more, but it's not!
