and I'm not! It really bugs me! I'm afraid I look like one of those really skinny girls that you look at and go "YUCK!" When ever I eat more, it just sort of goes in the very front of my stomache and you can't really notice. I need some fat in my arms, legs, face, mostly overall body! I've been trying to gain muscle to look better, but that's not as easy as it sounds. I wish the answer was just as easy as eating more, but it's not!

you sound like you do not think that you are fat, therefore you cannot be anorexic. Anorexia Nervosa is a disorder characterised by someone who is severely under-weight yet thinks that she or he is in fact fat. I know how you feel about being under weight and not having anything work when you try to gain weight. you should eat a diet that has carbs, proteins and fats balanced. one of the problems that you can encounter when you are under weight is that your body will not store enough fat. Fat is neccesary for the proper functioning of the human body. therefore about 1/3 of your daily caloric intake should be from fat. I know that it sucks to do this but you should start counting calories in a food journal and try to make sure that you eat more calories than you burn. don't get obbsesive with it, if you only do it once a week or once a fortnight it will give you sufficient information on one of the possible reasons why you can't gain.

If your have to ask the question you might be anorexic.

Just in case you need to know about anorexia.
For example your teeth are going to rot out your head. Your dentist will know if you vomit (bulimia). You will have dental bills forever. You will have trouble staying thin after you get over your anorexia. If you go at it too long your body will take calcium and anything else it needs from you not eating out of your bones.
It is not a pretty picture. It is also not an easy recovery.
Diet and exercise is the way to go.

ok you need to get the hell over it... it's better to be naturally skinny than to be fat and you know what 60% of america is over weight and over 75% of them are obese... now 50% of the obese people in us are morbidly obese... that means they will die because of being fat...
so when people think you're anorexic, tell them to shove and quit hating cause you're pretty... and you kno if that doesn't work take you skinny little *** into modeling so us normal and overweight people don't have to hear you complain about your perfection!!

ok since i'm done being pissed cuase you got the body i wanted my whole life... let me tell you something... my friend was exactly like you, and everyone thought she was skinny becauseof high metabolism.... eventually we found out her kidneys were failing and that's why she couldn't keep any weight on.... i suggest if you're really that concerned about being "under weight" and "appearing anorexic" then you should see a doctor to find out if being skinny is affecting your health... if not get the hell over it, be skinny, be the woman that every other woman envies because you can go into a store and try on everything and have it look great... ok i'm a 5'2 lady and i've had 38 DDD since 9th grade, i have always been a bit over weight but very active and healthy, the only wasy for you to judge this is by how you feel.... if you think being to skinny makes you worn out faster or not energetic then i repeat myself and say GO TO A DOCTOR.... and if not....
BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU GOT!!!

Yeah, a lot of girls have this issue.

Everyone has different body types, some people gain weight more easily than others. It could most likely just be that you have a high metabolism and burn off the foods you eat quickly.

Your age can have a lot to do with it. If you are still in your teens, you can be skinny and then as you get older, fill out very nicely. Extra protein, as in protein shakes, a good weight training workout and a healthy balanced diet will help you gain weight.

most people that will even say anything to you are jealous bitches b/c they have to watch what they eat or they'll be the size of a whale. it's the way you're built. i wouldn't worry about it, as long as you're healthy. but if it really bothers you there are things you can use to gain weight. but be careful about trying to gain weight. my mom was really skinny when she was younger and even got stuff from the doctor to make her gain weight and she used all that weight-on stuff. she used it all the time and it didn't work at the moment, but 25 years later she's...well..put on the pounds. and foods with lots of protein tend to stick to your bones.

I know someone who has had trouble all their life trying to gain weight.

They use "Russian Bear" to put on some weight.
It's actually pretty scary being thin and not being able to gain like everyone else. There are a lot of health risks involved.

They are probably jealous. People need to put others down to feel better about things they dont like about themselves. Be confident, be the person you want to be and you will be beautiful

Hun, how old are you...it might have to do with your age. Go to a doctor and they can help you manage your weight and tell you if there is anything you need to worry about.

Well i so figure you out i have like the same probs. And everyone be like omg you are so small and skinnt AND I HATE IT.!!!!!! I BEEN TRYING TO GAIN WAIT TO I JUST POSTED SOMETHING SO LIKE THIS IN SKIN AND BODY PUH-LEASE READ!
