I'm not necesarily thinking pro-US factions. How about outwardly loyal people who have connectins to say-Hugo Chavez, FARC, or what remains of Shining Path, etc.?

yes it is possible, but a Coup is usually done by the military against a non military president/dictator/etc. who does not support the military and their agenda. Castro is considered as Communist dictator, but also as part of the Cuban "army". So it might not be as likely, but it is possible.

Oh yeah, definately a chance for a coup. Not US led though because Kennedy promised he would never invade Cuba and every President has up-held that. Probably pro-democracy factions in Cuba will lead the coup and take-over the country.

A great question, I hope so, but I am not sure. Seriously, why don't you contact your senator, or someone higher up and ask them to look into it.
