Is it by gunpoint or knife? If not, how exactly are you being forced to believe?

If someone who doesn’t believe in God tells me that I am stupid and that I believe in a fairytale, and that the truth is that there is no God and evolution is all there is, are they forcing their beliefs on me?

I was just wondering why telling someone what you believe is the truth means that you are forcing your beliefs upon them?

okay i am 15 years old. i was with this guy for like 3 months. i loved him i really did. i gave it up and then a week later he says we should just be friends. he has his senior year coming up with football and he has a job and he says that he wants what is best for me and that right now he cant do that. i feel like i was played but he said he loved me once and i thought it was real. was it too good to be trur? he sais when he gets everything together like job and school that he would come running back to me. what do i do? i have sea cadets with him. and i will see him every month. we are friends i guess but when i call he is always in a rush to get off the phone. it hurts i gave it him and broke my promise with God for him and hes acting like nothing ever happend. should i just move on and not call and let him call me and wait or just forget about it? please give me some advice

I for one have made many mistakes while being intoxicated that I later regretted. I don't fault him for that, it happens. That he at least took RESPONSIBILITY for his actions and apologized, speaks volumes. I also did not find the Passion of the Christ as antisemetic, as it was a very biblically accurate portrayal.

What do you think? Will you ban his movies or will you give him a break?

My husband is leaving for Iraq, he leaves for training this Friday! Don't know how long he will be at training, it depends on how many others are there with him! We find that out tomorrow! But he will be going to Iraq afterwards for 18 months! I don't know what to do!!! It's so scary, and everything and I'm trying to be strong for him, I just want to break down though!!!!! Anyone have advice on what I should do, how do I get by knowing he is there in that damn place!

I have a 10 gallon tank for my turtle. He is about 3 years old and about 4 to 5 inches long. I have been feeding him pellets so far and he seems to be healthy. He also has a resting place but he never goes on it. I am afraid he will get soft shell. What can i do to help him live a healthy happy life?

I have a close friend that is going thru a divorce like I"am. She has sighed her papers and her husband refuses to sign them for two years. They went ot court and the judge didnt do anything, she wanted the house for the kids the judge said it would be hard to remove the father from the house. They at the house treat her like crap. She told her attorney she had to get out, if she leaves he said it would be abnoment, but how can a person live like that. She has a lot of friends andwe try to help her with talks and understanding. She knows she has to leave but what will happen if the kids dont go with her. The courts doesnt seem to want to get involved. I told her I would try to get some answers from peolpe to see what they think
