If you meaqn a multi media card, put it in the device you want to use it in and do it from there. Or, put it in your PC (via a card reader) and then right click it in "my computer" and choose "Format"

There is lot of options to format u r mmc, just insert u r mmc card in card reader and after tht right click on tht mmc drives icon after tht u will get format option and just click iton tht
Another way to format u r mmc card u have to download the mmc medic software from funmaza.com otherwise u can get tht software through the website n-gagehelp.com

Multi_Media_Card - Most cards can be formated by the camera or device they are used in. Alternatively, if you have the appropriate MMC reader/write attached to your Windows PC, you should be able to use the standard Disk Management format (right click on the drives icon) option, though obviously with fewer options - usually just FAT as opposed to FAT32 or NTFS

Did you mean how to run MMC?
The only MMC I know is, Microsoft Management Console. Is this what you are referring too? If so, I don't think you can format this...
Although, what you can do is add Snap-Ins and save this as a template.

if u r talk about Multimedia Card who while use in on different devices like a mobile digital camera etc......
if u use it on mobile go to Your Mobile Menu here u found a Extra Folder go to Extra Folder than u see a a icon which lable M.Card
open it and go to option and here u found a option to Format ur Memmory Card.select this and complete that process.
And if u talking about Memory card who while use on digital devices that card format through the Card reader.use this and format card.
