Cancer is NOT contagious.

When you meet and stay there, you would do better if you showed her more concern.

Cancer does not spread sexually.

Nor is it really hereditary.

However, cancer are usually a result of our unhealthy lifestyle. Everyone has got 'cancer cells' inside them. It is whether your lifestyle is unhealthy enough to draw them out.

If you like to eat the foods tat your grandma likes and like to do the things that she does.. then chances are, you will get it too when you grow to her age.

As long as you take more vege and am more concerned about your health, your chances of getting cancer will lowered.

PS: Cancer is not a easy disease to bear. I htink your grandma must be a very strong person. Please show her more concern and more love. Give her more hugs and tellher you love her. CANCER will not spread through hugging okie! Dun shun her juss because you think you will get infected if you get near her. You wouldn't want your grandchildren to do that to you if you were sick, WILLYOU?? ;)

Cancer has some properties of being hereditary, but its no guarantee. It cannot spread sexually, by mouth, or any other way. Its a transformation of cells due to something in your body. They still dont know how much of it is induced by environment, and how much of it is hereditary. I have a type of cancer that no one in my close family has ever had.

Cancer is not contagious. And why would you want to know if it is sexually contagious? You want to sleep with your grandmother? Ewww. Certain types may be hereditary though. But that does not fall under the heading of contagious.

Cancer in and of itself is not contageous. However, if your Grandma's cancer was caused by something in her environment and that something hasn't changed (for example, if she smokes), then you should avoid exposure.

You can have a hereditary propensity for cancer (prostate cancer, for example). Cancer can't be transmitted sexually, however there are some STDs that increase your chances of getting cancer.

You can not get the cancer from him. Go visit and enjoy all the time you have with him. It might be hereditary but doesn't mean that you will get it.

No, it is not contagious. However, because she is ill her immune system is probably weak. Excercise caution and hygeine when around her with a cold or any kind of viral illness.
Just give your grandma lots of love and support.
