okay so one of my really good friends and i hooked up before i went away for a week. he seemed really happy and into the whole relationship. when i came back things were fine but then all of a sudden he starts avoiding me. so i talked to him about it and he said that he wasn't ready for a relationship right now. and to be honest, niether am i. even though i liked him ALOT i still want to be friends with him, like the way we were before anything happened. i think he still feels kinda wierd about it though. how can i get things to go back to the way they were?

I recently had a creditor, (General revenue corporation) Call my work to find me, Is this legal?, it really burns me that they would bother me at work to collect a debt. Can I do anything to stop them from doing this in the future?

If you go onto the wehirealiens.com site, you will see a list of people in your state and in the nation that hires illegals......we need to boycott those businesses.

L'Oreal is now on my list! I won't buy another thing from that company......

Hit them in their pocketbook....see who these employers are and forward it to everyone on your mailing list...

L'Oreal, Home Depot....spend a few pennies more (or less) and spend your money on AMERICA!

When we moved in this place wasn't Excatly up to snuff but it was Good enough and it still is Good Enough I just wish We could get some of the Much outdated and Overly worn things Changed out. The tile is Ripping and has Scratchs everywhere, The Dishwasher is Grungy and old and We are the only apartment left with blue carpeting. The stains WILL NOT come out and New ones Keep appearing that are not our fault. Even the manager agrees that the stains in the carpet are from the old tenant and that There Shampooer guy said They might pop back up after time. We can't afford to move or we would So Am I stuck with the ugliness If I owned this place I would have replaced everything already.

It appears the president intended the phrase "people whose skin color may not be the same as ours" to mean people who are not from the United States. That skin color he refers to that is "ours," he makes it clear, is white. Those people not from the United States are "a different color than white." So, white is the skin color of the United States. That means those whose skin is not white but are citizens of the United States are ...? What are they?

I play the trumpet, and recently, whenever I play (especially when I play loudly or high notes) I get a sharp pain in my stomach/abdomen area and I start to feel sick. Is this normal? It didn't happen before. Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, it is tradition for the bride to give the groom something on their wedding day and the groom to give to give the bride something.... Usually the Maid-of-Honor gives the groom his and visa versa. My problem.... I want to give him something really special and unique but not too expensive. Any ideas?

Hello, I have a list of numbers stored in a file

1234

I need them all to be the same number of digits (say 7 digits) with preceeding 0's.

0000123
0000012
0012345
0001234
0000001
0000123

I have done this script using while loops to place zeros until proper number of digits and I have also hard-coded in a case test for the proper string to concatanate to the front of each line.
The problem is, I have a table of 3 columns and 40,000 lines long... it takes too long with all the approaches I've tried.
Is there an easier approach?
I've been looking into sed lately without much luck.

Any help would be wonderful!
