Definately pets. By far.
If anyone answers "people", then either they haven't had a pet or they live with Santa at the North Pole.

Pets are loyal without conditions, so I'd have to say pets have been kinder to me overall.
Not that I'm saying I expect this from people...there's always at least one condition we should hold over each other, and that's respect.
Lucky for my kitties I do respect them, even though they have unconditional kindness toward me. :)

Pets. From the ages 4-6 my best and only friend was my dog, a mutt named Lucky. I loved her so much, but my other had the nerve to sell her and her puppies to some old lady.

Well, I've been bit in the butt my a doberman (still got the scar 20 years later), been bitten by two hamsters, had a cat attack my hand and chew on my thumb when I tried to give it food (homeless cat) and had to clean up more cat and dog waste than I'd ever thought possible... so yeah, PETS ;)
