Ok, it is tradition for the bride to give the groom something on their wedding day and the groom to give to give the bride something.... Usually the Maid-of-Honor gives the groom his and visa versa. My problem.... I want to give him something really special and unique but not too expensive. Any ideas?

write him a letter telling him how you think things will be in 20 years. then give him another envelope to put it in and in 20 years you can open it and see how close you got!

The envelope idea is a good one!
However, I think mine is an original in the making, different but original>>>>>>>>>>>You may even think it wierd until you actually give it more thought.>>>
I would add to the leter in the envelope, your promise to only spend money on necessities not luxuries.Give yourselves a yearly allowance for 1 week vacatiion that is moderate in price.(you can even go somewhere different in your home state that is not very expensive.(package deal)
Plan on being ahead of the game and have a savings for your future retirement together.Think of how much money you will have......You can treat yourselves inexpensively once a week to have dinner out just to have a date thing..........Do Mcdonalds and a show.......Or bowling, or roller skating. Many inexpensive ideas.....You both should sign this piece of paper to eachother.
And you both will have to work to make IT work. Good luck!
One more thing....It won't be as long as you think....Look how fast the years go now!
One more piece of advice. This is important>>>>>...Money is the root of all evil and most divorces.......Couples find themselves in debt so fast...And when they look back, they realize they just spent money on things they really didn't need.
So b/4 you purchase certain things, ask yourself:DO I REALLY NEED THIS OR JUST WANT IT?

Well for my gift. I set up a session with a really good boudair photographer. To take about 100 shots of me. (100 bucks). Go and get your make up done and do your hair really nice before the shoot.

Also, find a photographer that will allow you do develop your own shots..and give you rights to the pictures. After that either have the prints printed and put them in an album (he'll love them)..or there is a website were u can create your own storybook (64 pages)...and in the story book you can create a story w/ ur boudair pics ...and add love letters, poems...

Men like to see their women in sexy pst..what better way than to give him sexy shots of urself?

It may not be unique but I really like the idea of an engraved watch. It "marks the time" and there are so many symbolisms for a watch, starting a life together etc.

CONGRATS!!!!!
I think what would be cool, would be to get a cuple of pics of the two of you from when you were little, and use photoshop to merge the two so that it looks like you're playing together.
Then you can send a note something like...
"Even then we were smart enough to know that we were made for each other"
or something like that........
hope your wedding is a dream come true!!!!!!

A very personal and unique gift can be an oil painting from photo.
Try: www.paintyourlife.com

You can choose a photo and order it yourself, or simply buy a gift certificate.

Good luck!

For guys.. anything you think he will like. Even if it's a fishing pole, guys like when they receive things that they need and use, not as much with the sentimental gifts.
