Both were extremely talented men...both equally funny. It's a real shame that John Ritter's life was cut short...who knows what more this man would have given us? Thank God we have reruns to enjoy and appreciate the gift of laughter from both of these wonderful people!

They both had different styles of comedy. Ritters was made up of more prat falls. Don Knotts was more expression .
Where ever they are the rest of the people there are laughing up a storm for sure
btw I pick Don.

While both very talented, Don Knotts by far....John Ritter could
have been as good as Knotts had he lived as long, but fate dealt him a different hand............
Don Knotts was a great charachter actor! One of my favorites was his charachter in "The incredible Mr. Limpert!" If you haven't seen it, you need to rent it......Really different. Won't tell you any more. He was great!

Don Knotts was an amazing character & comedic actor. From his role as the bumbling deputy on "The Andy Griffith Show" to the odd landlord on "Three's Company," he was always good for a belly laugh or two or three.
