My house has no insulation no A/C and it's over 105 outside, so my house has become a hotbox. I have tried a few thing, and can't seem to get it right. I have a fan and ceiling fans. We've been putting the fan in front of an open door in the hopes it will pull out the hot air during the day and pull in the cool air at night, obviously turning the fan the appropriate direction.

Anyhow, any advice, besides buying a swamp cooler (too humid here anyhow) or getting A/C would be great.

First of all, I'm 21 and we've been together for 4 years now. My mom is going to Florida on vacation to visit my brother, his wife and their kid. (We live in NC) She invited me to go too. She's gonna be down there for 9 to 11 days and they're all gonna go to visit some monuments and beaches and maybe Disney World or a theme park. There are 2 problems though. My mom and I are so different that we don't get along too good so I'm not sure if I can put up with her for that long lol. And also, my boyfriend won't be able to go because he'll be working and just plan doesn't want to go. Sure I'll miss him, but I don't know when I'll get the chance to go to FL again (I've never been). He gets kinda jealous sometimes though and I'm not sure how he'd feel if I went to FL without him for a week. And if he's gonna be pissy about it, I'd just rather not go. Do you think I should suck up the problems with me and my mom and also my boyfriend, and just go? Or forget about it and stay?

all my friends seem to be jelouse of me.
they are always competing against me, it is really annoying.
why cant they just lead their own lifes and stop coping me in eveything i do, including school work. i do try and talk to then about it, but they just deny everything.

At least it seems odd to me. I know that God can heal people and he has healed me before but I also have gone to the doctor for medicine and praise God that there are doctors. This guy says that if I have enough faith that doctors arent even needed. He wont go to the dentist, buy asprin, anything. I asked if he ever had a child, what he would do.. if they were born severely ill, what he would do. He wont answer my question. I do trust God, but God also gave us doctors to help us, I think. Now that I know these things and how he feels, I find myself freaking out.. Ive been told to run away as fast as I can. This is the only thing we disagree on, but for me it feels like a huge issue. He says that I can do whatever I wish, but I also could picture myself with this man and since Ive always wanted children, I find myself talking myself out of wanting them since he thinks that doctors are a waste and what if the child were sick? Am I making too much out of this? I want honest advice... .
