Don't let them turn you into an asshole, like med school does to 99% of it's graduates. Most graduates of medical schools are smug, annoying, arrogant, narrow, know-nothings. Don't let them do that to YOU.

Sure, eat and sleep as much as you can now, it gets worse. I still have the custom of inhaling food and can sleep almost in any imaginable position. Don't worry about exercise...those damned books weigh a ton....But just think, there is internship, residency to look forward to...so it's a piece of cake now.

Always remember that the patients you are treating are human beings who deserve respect. I've seen too many doctors who honestly believe they can do no wrong, and don't even try to connect with their patients. My husband and I discussed it with our doctor one time, and it drives him crazy, too.
