If you live in or near a larger city you should be able to find many reputable cosmetic surgery facilities. Spider veins are a very common cosmetic problem and there are quite a few different treatments depending on the severity and area of the body affected. Look in the local yellow pages and call or visit a few offices. Look for a place that specializes in vein therapy and ask about credentials of the therapists. If your veins are not too bad you may only need a few treatments. Plan on spending about $150-$500.

Exercise. I know, it sounds like an old wives tale but it isn't, exercise requires your body to build new capillaries and veins to help deliver more blood and oxygen to the muscles. The old veins will end up being replaced and will, over time, go away.
Look up the information, you'll find it is true. This way is much better for you, and you don't have the expense of surgery.

The only way I know of to get rid of them is surgery...they burn them off with a laser...it's fairly expensive (or used to be) and has been said to be painful...and there's the chance they will come back...

There is derma blend makeup you can buy though, that will help disguise them if you find them quite unsightly...that's what I used to do for mine, and then I just quit and decided they are a part of me and if others don't like 'em, oh well...I have them bad on the inside of both knees from standing on my feet long hours, when I was overweight...

Visit your physician, they can do procedures where they inject saline solution and it does clear them away, but it is something that has to be performed in a doctor's office
