The 10 minute film school idea is to get you from feeling overwhelmed and to start go out and actually start making films; they won't be good at first but practice makes perfect.

Most people don't because you really have to have a passion for it to become any good at it as to make a great movie, you have to be knowledgeable about so many different things and be able to coordinate them, know what you want from your talent and be able to draw that performance out of them and be able to edit the film that was shot, along with combining music and background noise, etc.

Many of the great directors started out when they were kids by doing just this and it is the passion and they have learned all the facets of producing and directing from trying to make each movie and learning from it.

Making a film, well which job do you want too do, camera, direct, lighting, sound, produce, because you will need knowledge off everyone plus more, you can't learn that in ten minutes!!!!
