I am 8 months pregnant and when I was 4 months my friend said she was going to throw my baby shower. I had 3 other people who wanted to throw a shower for me but I told them there was no need because my best friend was going to throw one. A bunch of people wanted to be invited and we went around to stores and registered for it and everything. Well the shower was supposed to be August 5th (in like 12 days) and my friend hasn't done anything with requards to the shower not even asked me for a guest list. So I called her today and she said she hadn't really thought about it at all and asked if we could just cancel. Of course I said we could cancel and I was nice about it but my feelings were pretty hurt. My other friends would have been happy throwing the baby shower but i blew them off cuz she said she would do it. I don't really need the shower we can afford to buy what we need ourselves, but I got excited about it. Should I really be this upset about her blowing me off?

My fiance travels alot with his job, but now he doesn't want a honeymoon . He says he travels everyday and his idea of a vacation is just staying home.
