look into a b&b in your area, something that is close enough so he doesn't feel like he's on the road, but romantic enough so you feel like it's a honeymoon.

No, it isn't too much to ask of someone that you are planning to spend the rest of your life with. I think that he needs to re-evaluate his priorities in life. You could go somewhere for a few days and stay home for a few days. Traveling for work is not the same as traveling for pleasure (HONEYMOON!!!). You are worth it.

I don't think it's fair either. He obviously had a lot of time 2 fall in love with u, so he should be able 2 set aside 2 or 3 days!

my fiance travels as well and we are still going on a honeymoon. He is absolutely being selfish and should take you into consideration.
3 day 2 night and he's complaining...what a jerk!

tell him to stop being so cheap. if he is cheap now, it will be worse after you are married. take a cruise, with or without him. tell him you are going on a honeymoon, with or without him. if he doesn't go, take a girlfriend with you. i bet you have done most, if not all the planning for the wedding with little or no help from him.you deserve a honeymoon with him or a after wedding vacation with a girlfriend AT HIS EXPENSE.

He is definitely being unreasonable. Just because he travels all the time, you don't and like you said, your families will be bugging you. go somewhere close and very upscale.

marriage is about compromise.
If his job prevents him from going on a honeymoon now, you can always plan for this at another time.
Be patient.
