I would return it, would you?

My boyfriend found a phone in a park not that long ago. We looked in the contacts list on the phone to see if we could call someone who might be able to contact the owner. Sure enough, "mom" was listed, who was in fact the mother of the person who it belonged to. It worked out pretty well, she contacted her son and her son arranged to meet with my boyfriend, who returned his phone. He was really appreciative, and just to do something like that and see the look of relief on a total stranger's face was worth it. I've lost things before, some i've gotten back, others I haven't. Its an awful, sinking feeling to loose something, so if I could help a fellow human being get back what is rightfully his or hers, I would certainly do it. Its like that old cliche: "do onto others as you wish to be done onto you"

I would contact the company that the person has and give the phone to them, as they will probably have a better chance at contacting the owner than I would.

Love as always,

Sebastian

I'd call a few of the numbers stored. Maybe the most recently dialed numbers and ask who's it is. If no one answers, i'd leave a message saying i'm holding this number for ransom.

I would search the phonebook and look for a number labeled "home" call it and tell them I have their cell phone and let them meet me to pick it up.

Well, yeah. Of course I would. It certainly wouldn't do me any good. The thought about making a call or two might enter my mind briefly, but then my conscience would take over and I would take it to a dealer of that product.

'nuff said?
