I recently answered a question about drugs. And I was pondering, why ,when we turn someone down who offers us drugs, do we say "No thankyou?." I've been tought to always so "No thanks", in school health class and such, but why?! Why should we thank the people who tried to ruin our lives, who could have been what caused OUR deaths if we had taken them, why try to be polite? So why is this tought, to be polite to the person who pressures you ?

Does central air conditioner work less efficiently when it's hot outside?

I have a new central air conditioner. Normally, it cools down the house 5 min per degree, so it takes around 25 min to lower the temperature from 80 to 75 degrees upstairs. I have 2 floors. Today, I went out to run errands and didn't get back until 1pm, when it became 91 degrees outside and 85 degrees inside. I kept the AC on for several hours, and it didn't cool the house below 78 degrees until 9pm.

Does the AC work less effectively when it's really hot outside, and the coils don't cool off very fast in 90 degree heat? Is that why it didn't go below 78 degrees inside till night time?

Is there such as thing as a super-hot day when even a 3.5 ton AC gets overwhelmed? Is there any point to "staying ahead" by turning the AC on at 11am if we think a hot one is coming in order to start cooling earlier before the house gets really hot?

Why do some people go out in public when they stink really badly?

I am sure many of you know what I am talking about....

For instance...

You go into a grocery store and are walking through the isles and suddenly you get a whiff of the most nasty of nasty body odors.Then you turn around to see where the offensive smell is coming from and next to you is a person who does not look dirty but most certainly stinks none the less.And you know it is them because when you get to the check out lane that same person is either in front of you or behind you and you are gasping for air because they smell so bad that your chocking on their odor.It smells like a combination of sweat and something you can't quite put your finger on but you know that whatever it is, it is God awful.

Why do people like that go out in public offending every-ones nasal passages?
