first off i do not support nazi's or fascism... i just find it fascinating the way the german military faught... and how we are still using their old tactics in our military today...

it IS fascinating. the capacity for horror is fascinating.
but you're right, the tactics and the strict methods are also fascinating.
and as odd as it may sound, i love their uniforms. if i remove the whole Nazi idea from the clothing and look at them from a design point of view, i think their uniforms were spectacular.

the precise nature of Germans in general is intriguing to me. after all, before WW1 Germany was widely considered the leader of many aspects of Western culture. Philosophers, composers...

Yes, I'm also fascinated by them. Yet, I am in no way racist. Did you know that they had synthetic Gasoline factories that produced fuels without the need for crude oil? It must have been expensive to produce, but look at the $3 per gallon fuel today. Couldn't we try again? They were very smart and we need to learn from our enemies. We gained so much knowledge after WW2 that I feel that it was a good thing for society. Look at all of the technology that was set into motion. I totally agree...

Many people are interested in the tactics of the German military in WWII. Even during WWII people were interested in their tactics. American General George S. Patton read German Field Marshall Romell's book on tank warfare and in doing so was able to defeat him due to knowing his way of fighting!

yeah, i'm fascinated too, by how evil of a man hitler was, and how actually he was nothing but coward...for instance how he wanted to be cremated so that he doesn't face humiliaion the way mussolini did by his corpse being strung out for public viewing pleasure. basically i'm just fascinated by how much of a disgrace to the human race he is was/is.....he gives germans a bad name...and no, i'm not german...nor do i ever wanna go to germany in my life....

I don't believe your alone. WWII topics will be talked about for generations to come. There were so many facets to this war, so many things going at one time. Germans are very intellegent people.

They were good, but not good enough.

They got beat by the United states, the only consistant force for good in the world.

We are standing alone as the only force for good right now.
