Huh? I doubt that this is a real event...likely you have viewing some 'artistic' or pornographic display...of which there are many. If you are asking the moral state of the Internet, well, I don't think this kind of thing is becoming more (and relative to the number of webpages out there) than it has ever been. Best to forget this image, rather than repeat it in your own head!

We're in a culture that has dehumanized women, to the point where torture and mutilation are "turn-ons". I occasionaly enjoy a good bondage fantasy now and then, but this is a pretty bad direction where someone is crucified. If you really want a grotesque peek into our society, type "snuff films" into a search engine. Very odd and disturbing.

The world is going crazy. It's rediculous. And the problem is, there is not much we can do about it. Sure we could try, but what good will it do? There are many sick people out there that get pleasure for do sick and discusting things like that. All that we can do is pray to God that he helps those sick people find Him and help them lead the way to a better and safer lifestyle.

Those people want attention. They make really disastrous things and even get away with it. Problem is, the society is letting it happen. If I were you, report the site and the server carrying it so others won't dare follow.
