I don't really like the term non-believer, because I believe in SOMETHING, just not the same thing Christians believe. *lol*

Anyway, I was intrested in finding out what reasons you other non-Christians had for not caving in and turning to Christianity when we're preached to. Here's my list:

1. I don't like the idea of an organization where I can be "reveared" and "man's little helper," but I can never be truly equal to him.

2. Darwinism makes sense to me.

3. I can't bring myself to believe in a religion that says good people who just so happen to not be Christian will go to heaven, while a serial killer who repents on his deathbed will go to heaven.

4. I don't like being told what I can or cannot think, or what I can or cannot do to my own body.

5. I do not think being gay is a sin.

6. I believe that some sort of benevolent force created the universe, but I don't know what it is.

I might think of more and add them on later, but in the meantime, let's see what you guys think. :)

When my dad was 12 his dad died. Then my grandma got re-married and he died when I was 5. Now my grandma died. When I was little I was really close to her, but when I was in 3rd grade she moved to Ohio to live with my aunt and uncle (her daughter, my dad's sister) My family would visit about 3 times a year, but then my mom started to complain how she hates going down there (my mom is kinda stuck up sometimes) So then we started just going at X-mas. I liked going down there until I was in 7th grade b/c it got boring for me a bit. And last X-mas we went and I was kinda bored b/c my 89 year old grandma just talked about her sewing and medical stuff, so I just sat there with my sister and I smiled when they laughed, etc. so it looked like I was having fun. Then in a "thank you" card to my sister my grandma wrote, why doesn't Courtney like me anymore? etc
I don't feel sad for my grandma except for she died thinking I don't like her. What about my dad? I'm not one to really show how I feel.

I was riding with my boyfriend in his truck. I picked up his phone just to be a little nosey. Years ago when we dated he cheated and I have given him another chance. I figured he didn't have anything to hide this time since he always says he does not. He snatched his phone from me and yelled at me even after I handed mine to him. It might seem pedantic, but it gets really annoying seeing Americans constantly using the wrong terms when talking about the UK, England, Great Britain, Ireland, etc. I'm not trying to be insulting, I'm just hoping to educate some of you so you don't make a fool of yourself in the future. If you don't want to be lectured I suggest you read no further.

1. The British Isles - This is a purely geographical that term refers to the archipelago of Islands of the coast of Northern Europe. It is politically separated into three separate countries - The United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man.

2. The UK - short for 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland'. The UK comprises of 4 'countries within a country', these are; England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. (Note, not all of the island of Ireland is part of the UK, only the northern part).

I live in forest park of cinci, ohio. Its a wooded area and the racoons are horrible. I dont want to kill them, just make them stay away from my house. I have tried moth balls and bleach but nothin works.

I want to move to LA when i graduate from high school in 2008 and i want to persue a modeling career because my dream is to become a model and possibly an actor as well.
