I have been with the same man for 2 yrs. He often beats me and throws me out of our apartment, and we have an 11 mo. old child together. I've called the police, but they tell me that they will not release the child to a homeless person, (When he has kicked me out). He's very sneaky about not leaving marks the police can see. Just 1 mo. ago I was in the hospital for 2 broken ribs. Anyway, these times I was kicked out I would usually spend the night on the porch until his drunkenness wore off, all the while being observed by our neighbors. But six mos. ago I met a really nice guy, I've told him the whole story and he seems to care for me anyway; and the most recent time my bf threw me out (about 1 wk ago) he let me styay at his condo while I looked for a job and even let me drive his truck. So you tell me; am I wrong for confiding this man and accepting his help and should I pursue this great guy further?

I was named the executor to my grandmothers will. The lawyer told me no matter what, it has to sit in probate for eight months. There is just a piece of property worth no more than 20,000.
There is a bank account with $2,000 that the lawyer is telling me I have to move to a bank they use. Her husband, my stepgrandfather passed away before she did. Does his property transfer to the estate? Is any of this true?

Hello, I only have 1 question. I own a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria. Im interested in getting 20 inch rims off the net. I know the bolt pattern for these rims is 5x4.5 or 5x114.3 which is the same for my car but I'm not sure about the offset which is +30? Will the +30 offset tuck the rims neatly inside the fenders or will they be sticking out the side of the fenders giving it a ridiculous look?

I mean, I know a guy who got offended because I tried to explain something to him, but I didn't know that he knew already. "Give me more credit than that!" he said. I would not like him any less if he didn't know. What I wouldn't like is if he acted snobbish about it.
Then again, I also get annoyed if people assume that I don't know things... someone asked me once, "how do you spell 'duct tape'?" to see if I would spell it wrong... like Duh!! I realized that I am also guilty of this.

But why? Is it just pride?
Just because someone is smart doesn't make them any better.
Being wise has more advantage any good leader can tell you that. Think about you friends. Do you like them because they make A's in physics or because they give you good solid advice? And people who are really wise know that they don't have to always flaunt what they know.

Since as individuals we have the right to our own personal moral, conscience, and religious rights, should we not sue the government for forcing laws on us without regard for individual freedoms?
As long as we do not violate anothers rights to life, liberty, or happiness, we should be able to whatever we want, when we want.
If laws are forced upon us, ie.. seatbelt, helmet, insurance, going through red lights at 3am, etc...before any public crisis is established, is that not a case of vioaltion of personal freedom?

I just found out last night that my little sister (age14) has been cutting her arms pretty badly. I have seen Repukelicans misuse the idea of "emergencies"
They laugh and say an emergency is whatever they want it to be.

Anytime someone disagrees with them and won't do as they are told, it's an emergency.
