I don't know where or who you got that from. I was under the impression that this was the era of the "independent woman."
It was also my understanding that a lot of guys want to take care of their women. Of course not the losers.
I personally don't want a guy that feels he NEEDS to take care of me. If he wants to, that's another issue. I make my own money, pay my own bills, and live my own life. Having someone take care of you means you have to answer to them. That's not something I am prepared to do just yet.
My advice: If you don't want to take care of a woman, make it known. Or if you feel like only a certain race of women think men should take care of them, stay away from those races. A woman can't make you take care of them. I don't want someone to take care of me, but I'm darn sure not going to take care of a man either. That's just not happening!
Best Wishes!

Excuse me, I think you should do a little more research and specify exactly which women do this, 'cause it's not all or most. Yeah there are a lot of women like that but not all women are. I'm very independent and pay my own way. I give my boyfriend money and help take care of him, so do a little more thinking before stating something so ugly about all women.
Sorry if I seem a little rude, but that comment made me mad. Not all women are gold digging skeezers.

Its stated in the bible. Man should be the bread winner and provide for his wife. Man is suppose to be the head of the household and provide for the family even if the woman cant.

in a relationship its important that both parties should take care of the other when they need support. thats one of the most important factors in a relationship, if your partners not there for you in a crisis then theres no point in being with them.
