Oak Lawn is a really nice town, just south of the city.
All the ones I know of are south, just to name a few,
Burbank, Chicago Ridge, La Grange, Hodgekins, Countryside, these are all nice towns.

Villages? There's probably a hundred cities around Chicago. Need to get more specific about what you want. North, South, somewhere in-between. Close, far, etc.

Depends on your budget. I love the south suburbs (Orland Park, Tinley Park, Homer Glen, Palos, etc....) Plus the SOUTHSIDE have the better baseball team! Go SOX!
