Isn't Science at it's heart, the search for the truth. To observe and understand the natural nature of the Universe. If we discover truths about the Cosmos, then how can that be argued against? That sounds like to me the same arguement along time again, that the Earth was the center of the Universe.

So on 6/6/06, someone at my school played around calling everyone from the number 666-6666... Someone told me that theres a way to call from any number you choose and thats what they did... Does anyone know how to do that?

this is my story, i got married almost 5 months, i got pregnant now almost 4, i tell his the news and he was not happy at all, he tell his mother and then he and his mother used to call me at all the times forcing me to do an abortion, a said to him NO, i even do a sonogram and the most beautiful thing in the world is to know that you have a life inside of you, i was so emotional to hear the heart beat of the baby, i told him that and he said to me i dont care you have to do an abortion, other wise i will divorce you he said, i separated from him, i suffer a lot, i was very emotional, he have never give a penny to take care of my self and the life that i have inside of me, and then after a while he told me to move with me, did you think if fare to moved with someone who has abuse you physically and emotionally after he was forcing you to do an abortion and he abandone you, at least do you think this man deserve a chance????

I was called two filthy names for telling some twit named pretty lady that it was horribly shallow to ask people what their favorite color was, i thought the point of things here was to make some sort of sense, she even felt she should email me twice telling me what a b-eye-tch i was, well im intollerand of stupidity, i admit, but im not sure telling her her question was ignroant, really deserved that sort of response. lol i just told her she showed her true colors.

The place where the sun meets the Milky Way is where the "dark-rift" in the Milky Way is - a black ridge along the Milky Way caused by interstellar dust clouds This is a feature of the Milky Way anyone can see on a clear midsummer's night. At dawn on the winter solstice of A.D. 2012, the sun will be right in this dark-rift, and the orientation is such that the Milky Way rims the horizon at all points around. Thus, the Milky Way "sits" on the earth, touching it at all points around, opening up the cosmic sky portal. The galactic and solar planes are thus aligned. "Sky portal" is just a term to describe the "opened sky" scenario apparent when the Milky Way rims the horizon. This is not to be confused with the "dark-rift" itself."

For the past 10 years of my life, I was going to be a member of the fascinating, incredible world of journalism. It didn't matter-- writer, author, reporter, journalist-- something like that. I'm very, very talented at writing and I have focused everything that I have done in life to cater to my ability. I've been looking at those crazy, liberal arts colleges, putting all of my effort into managing my high school's newspaper, writing my college essays six months in advance-- all of that.
Unfortunatley, the more I think about it, the less sure I am that I am on the writing path when it comes to my future career.
I have developed another interest, one that interests me equally, possibly even more so-- medicine and health. I kind of want to explore the option of being a doctor. I'm not sure what kind of doctor, but definitley a doctor-- but I'm afraid to enroll in medicial school just yet.
I told my parents about it, and they kind of laughed it off. How do I tell them I'm serious?
