I totally agree, the American government always gets involved in international and domestic matters concerning other countries. It seems holding the title “superpower” has put them under the impression that they can solely police the world, they get involved and then they have the audacity to wonder why everyone is so anti-American. If the US goverment gave their own matters the level of concern they give the worlds America would be very different.

There are many examples of what happens when the United States removes itself from the international scene. One big one...the holocost. The world suffers when the US does nothing and the World gets angry when the US finally decides to start getting involved. I point to the fact the United States never really liked Pie in the Sky Ideas. For example The Kellogg-Briand Pact, which outlawed war. We supported the initiative, but we both know what happend to that idea. The World thinks that the pie in the sky ideas can work. The UN is great on paper and is a great humanitarian group only one problem it was developed as a place to settle disputes peacefuly...hmm doesn't work. Also if we stay out of everyone's business then you might as well close up shop, don't bother buying a cellphone, tv, and many other items you take forgrated, oh and gas, and many other items you currently enjoy you can kiss goodbye. The US needs to get involved to keep its investments stable. One big investment that most people fail to look at is Europe. Its because of the US that we even have a Europe.

We don't go looking to stick our nose into someones business. Most of the time they are looking to us for help. Or someone has done something that could directly or indirectly affect the United States. Then its our business to know.

The government should stay far away from the citizens biz. Let them take their snooping overseas.

You meant U.S? I reckon it'd be slightly peaceful and possibly the gas prices are lower, and the dollar can compete in the market.
