Don't use bleach, even a light mix of bleach, because the fumes could really hurt the baby.
I don't agree with febreeze either because about five years ago they found out that it was harming small animals. They have changed their formula since then, but I still don't feel very comfortable with it.
I always used a 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water. It is harmless to children and cleans just as well as bleach. I also use this to clean my kitchen counters and bathrooms. I love it. Kills bacteria, no harsh fumes and gets stains out very well.
It also helps that you can buy a bottle for 98 cents at walmart...

Just use some soap and water and hose it off outside and let it dry out real good.
We used ours outside for our oldest son's ballgames, so I had to clean the dust and dirt off of it a lot and soap and water worked just as good as lysol cleaner or anything else.

I wash my daughters out with either a mild bleach, or pine sol mixed with water. If it is really bad, I take it out and hose it down then let it dry in the sun. I have not had any problems out of it. Mine is by Fisher Price.

I bought a used pack n play...I took it outside in the sun....and sprayed it down with Febreze. Then I let it sit for a half hour...then sprayed it all down again and them let it sit again for a half hour.
Febreze is an antibacterial spray...I felt very comfortable with my baby in it after that.
