To many Christians, those who do not accept Christ are doomed to eternal damnation, therefore these people are nothing more than folks to be converted by their own choice or by the sword, much like Islam. When you have any religion anywhere that holds the belief that if people don't believe in the same things that religion believes, that they are automatically doomed in the afterlife, or that they are deserving of more in this life because of their "god", you are bound to have conflict arise.

I think the biggest problem the Muslims have Is they claim to be a peace loving religion but, they have these clowns like Osama and Al Zarqawi the leader of Iran ect Dominateing the World Headlines SHineing a DIm light on Islam. The best way for Muslims to change the opinion of the world towards there religion would be to Clean the GARBAGE out of there religion rather than sit back and watch the radicals Destroy it.

there is but one true god. (whoever or what-ever they may be known as) all the worlds major religions use teh first five books of the old testament, its after that it get confusing, bit like a pick n mix ceremony.

gods message is so simple. live in peace, love thy neighbour and dont steal his wife or his BMW.... basically, LL&P live long and prosper. nowhere does it say, in any bible lay waste to thine enemy by blowing up innocent kids, and by the same hypocrisy "ministers" bless tanks... its bloody rediculous, as we are always fighting over resources and title, the world is divided, and therefore controlled. if we turn our swords into ploughshares, we'll eradicate poverty, cure major disease and find ways to populate the entire planet. but then men wont be able to sell guns and bombs to one another, they wont be able to control the supply and manufacture of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, oil...so to misdirect us from this utopian common goal, were always at war, and theres always some religious zealot asking, does my bomb look big in this ? god does not instruct people to strap semtex or C4 around their body to fulfil a political aim. life is precious, and shouldnt be squandered so easily.

the bible is a book. men give it interpretation, and nuance... and now we have they guys who killed jesus running the most powerful organisation on the face of teh planet... in 4ad constantine reinvented the roman empire, it became teh holy roman empire, and gave the world its bastard offspring, the catholic church... gods representative on earth? hes a murdering nazi hypocrite... who runs an organisation staffed by child abusing paedophiles, whom it protects.... suffer unto me the little children indeed.

religion should be pure. its not a reason to go to war, or to take another mans life, or invade his country, subjugate his people and torture dissenters. what is religion? its spiritual guidance.. religion offers guidelines, and examples, but just like the religion itself, its a bit hit and miss, choose the bits you like, discard the rest... just like john taze russel, a philanthropic pacifist in 1920's america. he gave us the word of god, jehovas witnesses... any reason not to go and die on teh fields of flanders and the somme in ww1. no, religion is more trouble than its worth. especially in the hands of corrupted individuals, and corporate agenda. why would a church support an organisation whose purpose was to inflict death on people with the weapons it produces? why would any organisation keep its parishoners in poverty, pregnant and suffering, just so they could hold the moral high ground, whilst condoning atrocities in its own precincts.... hypocrites, liars and manipulators.
