My brother took his own life over a girl as a teenager. It’s been several years since his suicide and I’m still fretting over his decision to take his own life. I’ve grown up in a very religious family, though I am still uncertain of my own religious conviction. I have heard that suicide is wrong because it robs the victim of the time that was given to prepare for all the glory that comes after. I've also heard that suicide is the deliberate and unlawful killing of one of God's own beloved children, whom He cares for very much. Always choose life. Then I’ve been told that there is no problem that is worth the taking of one's own life because often, all that is needed is time, and things will get much better.

I choose to believe that his decision in taking his own life isn't a transgression and I can't bare to think of him suffering because of he's own judgement. I would just like to know your opinion on suicide and whether you believe it is a sin or not?

I have a sleep study coming up next Sunday and Monday. The doctor thinks I have narcolepsy. I have been having trouble driving and had to take a leave of absence from work, because I was falling asleep while driving. Right now, I just drive for small trips to the local grocery store. My husband does all the other driving. I am just wondering if they are going to take away my driver's license, or will the medicine make it possible for me to drive long distances (20 minutes to 1 hour), so I can go back to work.

numbers come from US Bureau of Statistics!
businesses do not abuse their illegal workers often because the word spreads quickly and they soon lose their workforce and must pay more for labor.
On occasion, I am sure a problamatic worker is fired without receiving his pay because the company CAN and because it puts fear in those that remain.
By and large, Illegals probably work a bit harder because of the same fear, but at the same time businesses that hire them treat them well for the resons stated above.
stop the rhetoric, or prove me wrong!

In black-and-white films in the forties and fifties, whenever there's a closeup shot of an actress, the edges are blurred ever so slightly, which creates sort of a glowing, almost dreamlike look. I'm guessing they do something different with the lighting as well. What is this technique called? Or does it even have a name?

And I'm sorry, but I can't seem to find any examples right now. If I find some, I'll add them in later.
