She can get it when she is 15 for all I know. It depends on how tall she is and how tall she expects to get. Usually girls grow about 2 inches or 5 - 6 cm after having period. So if parents are tall and she is small, maybe she'll have to wait a couple of years before starting to worry so much.
She can have a Libresse in her locker or backpack for safety. Its not like it will come ALOT the first time. She can even get by by using toiletpaper if it should come as a surprice in school.

People develop in different ways and at different ages. There is nothing wrong with your friend. Some girls will get their periods at 8 and others at 14. It is just when your body is ready to start that part of life. Your friend needs to talk to her mom about her concerns. Don't worry, her mom was probably feeling the same way when she was 11. Hope this helps.

She's fine, 11 is young, some girls don't start their periods until they are 13 or so. If she is afraid of starting at school or on a trip tell her to pack a few pads, just in case.

some girls don't start their period until 13 -16 while others start anywhere from 9-12. it all depends on your body. tell you friend not to worry about it, tell her to carry some pads / tampons with her if she's scared she is going to start at school or a road trip. but when she's has her period for the first tiem wil will only be spotting, it won't be real heavey, etc.

Everyone starts at a different time the avarage age I belive is between 11 and 13 sometimes sooner or later. If she is that worried about starting in public she could start wearing pantyliners, That would provide protection.

Tell your friend it is normal to start having periods about the age of 13. If she is worried about it happening while at school, tell her to keep an extra change of clothes in her locker and some pads just in case.

That's definitely NOT a problem! My mom was 13 and my sister was 12. If she's worried about getting it somewhere embarrassing tell her to always be prepared with pads. Chances are she'll know it's coming with the cramps!!

Just tell her to keep a pad with her at all times in her purse, just incase. Some girls dont get their period until they are older, like 14-16. When she gets it for the first time tho, it will not be heavy so its not like she will be bleeding everywhere, just spotting. So she doesnt have to worry about being embarrassed somewhere. Tell your friend to relax :)

Tell her she has nothing to worry about. some girls don't get their periods until 14. If she is nervous about having it in school. Tell her to make sure she has a couple of pads in her back pack some where. If it happens while she is out like shopping. Make sure she has some in her purse. Or there are usually machines you can get a pad out of.

There is no right or wrong age to start your period. Girls are starting younger and younger these days due to consuming foods processed with hormones and obesity. Tell your "friend" not to sweat it. It'll happen when the time comes. She has the rest of her life to deal with it. Growing up comes around before you're ready for it anyhow, enjoy life before "womanhood" while you can.
