I live in a rural area of Maryland. The wages are low here, but so is the cost of living. If I move closer to a city in Maryland or Delaware, will the cost of living be so high that it cancels out the higher wages?
In other words, will I come out ahead by moving close to a city?

I'd like to start swimming but i believe I'm a little old for competitions. I'm 17 (i still feel 16, i turned 17 two days ago), and don't know how tough the competition is. I'm a really, really good runner(play lots of soccer, too much perhaps :)), but i can't even swim 3 laps (6, back and forth)! I'm pretty skinny too, about 120, so have a 'streamlined' body for swimming, i just lack the endurance. Any tips?

What efeects do you think time travel has? My thought, you can't change time. example: A guy is born rich he has always had money in his bank account. He goes back in time to become richer by depositing money into a bank account. When he returns to his time nothing has changed. He always had money because he was the one in the first place to put the money in the account.

A family member has stage 4 lung cancer. He went through radiation on the brain and chemotherapy. Recent scans show that the cancer has shrunk and remained stable. However, the patient has recently become very confused, thin, and weak. The doctors insist that all of his symptoms are caused by the cancer. However, we are not so convinced. He is on many medications, including several very strong pain meds. The doctors think this is the end, and that his body could shut down anytime now. Are we in denial?
