Is this your first baby? If it is, maybe within the week, if it is not baby one, could be a longer wait.
In my experience...babies come when thay are ready and trying to read signs will just drive you nuts!
Wishing you a safe and happy birth (whenever it happens)

Sorry to tell you this, but your mucous plug can keep replenishing itself. I lost mine a couple of weeks before I had my daughter. After that I would lose chunks of mucous every time I went to the bathroom. It was like snot. I also sat at 3 cm's for about a week. It is hard to tell when labor will start. The good news is you don't have long to go. Hang in there. It's all worth it in the end.

lucky you! I am 39w3d, and nothing! I am losing my mucus plug little by little, but not like that and no other pre-labor symptoms! Don't worry, I just read yesterday that it doesn't replenish itself. I can't remember where, but it was written by an obgyn.
I think if it has blood in it, then labor is supposed to occur within 24-48 hours. This is unless the blood is from sex or an internal exam. It sounds like yours could possibly be from sex if you had it within the last 24 hours. Same thing happened to me about a week ago. Otherwise, sounds like you are very close! hope that helps!

Probably not long now. I'd give it a week, if that. Though with some women the body still won't feel ready for labor and there's a chance your plug will grow back. At 39 weeks, though, I doubt that will happen.

I know everyone is different but yeah it looks like it and my water broke about 2-3 hours later. I gave birth about 6 hours after the plug came out.

no way to be sure how long but if the doctors will let you WALK......walk down the hall or even back and forth through the room and if your water hasn't broken, don't let them do it yet. Thats when the contractions will get stronger. And get ready. The greatest moment in you life is just a little while away!!!!!

Wait until your contractions are consistent for an hour or longer, then go to hospital is what I was always told.
Congrats!
