I interviewed at the local Humane Society today for an Education Director position. The salary that they offered me is $25,000 a year. It is a salaried job, not hourly. They told me to think about the offer and get back with them if I had a different number in mind. This is a new position that they are creating, so I don't have many resources to go to in order to check if it's a fair amount. Full insurance is included, and they said there would be raises (although I don't know how frequently and what amount). Can someone tell if this is a fair salary, and if not what my counteroffer should be. Thanks so much!
