Jesus had 12 disciples (Matthias replaced Judas). 11 out of the 12 died from being martyred (John being the only one to live due to being exiled). They were each individually killed for telling people the gospel, that Jesus was the Christ and came to save. Their deaths are a historical fact supported by several non Christian sources.
A lot of people say that what Jesus said has been changed down through the years, and he originally didn’t claim to be Christ and God Himself. Why would his disciples have chosen to die for the gospel hadn’t even been “made up” yet?
