Why do you need to tell him anything? Why don't you try to kiss him instead and see how that goes? You should be able to tell alot by how it plays out.

I have a friend like that too, she and I grew up together since our parents knew each other and we have loved each other ever since. But as time went on my feelings for her grew and grew and she only saw me as a brother and a really good friend. There are 2 kinds of love in this world: brotherly love, the kind we share with friends and family, and then there is true love, the love between a husband and wife or even between God and us.

My advice for you is to ask yourself what type of love is it? I realized that it was only brotherly love that I was feeling for my friend, I told her how I felt. It was hard and she knew it was going to happen some day. But it was not true love, she is and will always be the best friend and the other part of who I am.
When you think on this, I am sure you will know what to do.

I think the time you tell them will come to you.. when you truley relalize you love them, im not talking lust. True love ... thats when you tell them but only if you can handle what they might or might not say back. So i would take alot of thought before i said those words.

I waited until my friend told me first. I wanted to tell him for a long time but I waited until he said it before I did. I don't know if this a good strategy or not but it worked for me!

give it time. being really good friends with a guy before going out with him is really good for the relationship. he may not like you as more than friends right now, but he'll come around...just hang in there with your bestest smile on :)

Leave this issue alone. If he told you he only looks at you as a good friend, that's another way of saying: "I,m not interested!"
Move on.

Well I wouldn't tell him because he might hurt your feelings, but that's the most he can do.If you feel that he really needs to know then tell him.He may feel the same about you.You never know untill you ask

Ugh, another teenager asking a relationship question.

Uh, tell him how you feel

If he doesn't feel the same...

IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD

So, please notify me immediately if he says "no" so I can make plans

say it over the phone either he hangs up or says something back so you wont have to cry infront of him when/if he rejects you
