Acura RSX, type-s of course, and an acura will last longer than the vw. I have an rsx, and i wouldnt even think of selling it or trading it for a vw. I would have to be insane.

I'd prefer the Golf GTI simply because I don't like the looks of the RSX. It would also have more cargo space. I like the 1.8T VWs. They've got good performance and still maintain decent economy when you take it easy on the throttle.

The Acura RSX has the smoothest shifting gearbox in the industry, but it's a girl car now.

In my opinion, I'd go with the Acura RSX, only if it is a Type-S! I own one.. And they are wonderful cars! :)

RSX for sure, I don't have time hunting down electrical gremlins, just go to a VW forum and do a search and you will quickly know what I mean.
