OH PLEASE.....you will NEVER find what you're looking for cause it doesn't exist!!! So you "like" your wife but you don't "feel" that fire and your answer to that is an online relationship. I guess you want to see how it feels to be served divorce papers. You want fire and love in your life but you don't want to take care of your business at home to get it. That's just plain lazy, Dude. And your wife....? Do you give her that "fire"? Think about ways you can spice up your life at home and forget the online crap, because for a married 45 yr. old man, that's what it amounts to. You're just looking for trouble.

If you only "like" your wife and are still so immature that you need the giddiness of "first blush," then divorce.

Or, alternatively, get into counseling with your wife and you may find there are ways (and there are) to make your marriage "new" again. And people who have found ways to renew a marriage say it is better than EVER before. Read the book, "Renew Your Marriage at Midlife" by husband-and-wife marriage counselors Steve and Cathy Brody .

Or find a Marriage Encounter program - designed for couples like you. They come under many names - marriage encounter, marriage quest.....

You can find the fire you want with your wife if you two try. If you are not willing to work at it, then get divorced. It is not right to betray your wife emotionally.

To be honest, If you want a platonic friendship, you have to be a platonic friend. You want a romantic relationship in the end. You don't want a platonic friendship. Don't think you can go into a 'platonic' friendship with a woman then start trying to get with her. They lower their guard to platonic friends because they don't see them as a threat. When they discover you are not actually platonic they will run for the hills. Trust me. If you want an actual romantic relationship, a good place to start is with women who are actually available in the first place. Don't try chasing women who aren't interested and unavailable. They only want platonic friends and expect it to stay like that. With one exception, that they suddenly become available and actually tell you they want to start dating again and getting a romantic relationship and if they specifically say they are interested in you. Don't think if they break up that straight away you will be able to get them because this is not the case. So if you want platonic friendships you want platonic friendships. Don't think of it like it will go somewhere because it won't.

Where a married man can find a platonic love in internet ?

In divorce court. You will find the love of an attorney if you proceed with this crazy notion. If love is lacking in your marriage seek counseling or get a divorce. Spare your wife the pain of discovering your new 'interest"

Take your wife on a date like you did before you got married and rekindle your marriage. Ever think she feels the same way? How would you react if she post your question? Get a life at home!

What exactly is it you are looking for? To fall in love on the internet? Why don't you try to fall in love with your wife? I'm not being judgemental, but I dont' understand why you would look elsewhere for love? Maybe you need some counseling.

You and your wife need to seek counseling. You shouldn't be looking for that sort of love anywhere else if you are already married.

You're headed down a slippery slope my friend. You're asking for an "emotional affair". That is worse that a sexual affair in most cases. Buy a sports car instead.
