Are the 500 section seats at Angels Stadium too far to have a good view of the game?

I want to buy tickets for the Yankees @ Angels games in August, but all I can find is 500-section seats way up high. Are these too far? I don't want to sit at the far end of the field in the 100s either. I'd like to sit somewhere between Home & First OR between Third and Home. Can anyone help, please?
