VH1 classic had Rocky Horror as the best soundtrack but we all know the fans fixed the count. What is the real best soundtrack of all time. I say Purple rain or maybe the blues brothers....trick or treat is great as well.

Nah baby, Purple Rain, especially the song Darling Nicky. I love every song on the album. Of course I have the album and listen to it as often as I can.

of the 3 you mention,for me blues brothers is miles ahead of the others,not just the soundtrack,but as a film also.
i liked the rocky horror movie,but was lucky enough to have seen the original stage show in the fulham road.i got to see it about 5 times,it knocks spots off the film and the west end stage show!
one of the best,if not the best sound tracks of all time is from Quadrophenia!The Who are brilliant,with a nice mix of other classic blues and soul bands!
or what about Good Morning Vietnam?
did either of these feature in the VH1 poll?cos i missed it!

Purple Rain had the better soundtrack, but Rocky Horror is the better movie. You can dance to it .... and I do .... to the horror of my little sister.

Purple Rain would be best original soundtrack. Blues Brothers would have one of the best compilation soundtracks.
