I want to buy tickets for the Yankees @ Angels games in August, but all I can find is 500-section seats way up high. Are these too far? I don't want to sit at the far end of the field in the 100s either. I'd like to sit somewhere between Home & First OR between Third and Home. Can anyone help, please?

I've been in many stadiums that had worse seats than the 500 section at Angels Stadium... You won't get a great view, but you also won't find the tickets you'd like directly from the Angels box office, etc. If you really want seats between home ans first or home and third, you might want to try stubhub.com -- the site specializes in the re-sell of tickets, but it's rarely as expensive as most ticket brokers or scalpers. I believe the Angels also have something on their website (angelsbaseball.com) that lets you buy tickets from season ticket holders that aren't going to a specific game -- they won't be sold for face value, but they should be less than scalper or ticket broker prices...

Like I tell anyone that asks about good seats in any park...I say they are all good as long as you go with good friends and family and enjoy the fuel of any fan (Beer). The best thing to work out is your budget for the tickets and how many you need...keeping everybody in the same row or stacked is the most important thing. The only chance you have of getting baseline seats is from a scalper (very exp.) the day of the game. These seats always sell out first, because they get the most balls hit to them.

relying on how the seating is done, it would both be decrease or mid factor. i understand some places that do seating degrees with 0xx being the decrease factor and 1xx being the middle factor, yet maximum of them have 1xx because the decrease factor and 2xx because the mid etc.
