There is this guy I care about as a friend but he does not make it an effort to call me. I always end up calling him but just once a year on his birthday. I found out he is about to be a father and I worry he might need someone to talk to but everybody is telling me to just forget about him. I love to help people and this hard for me to do because if he needs a friend or someone to give advice to about the situation I want to help. I used to be a teen peer counselor which is pathetic because I can not even give myself advice. Is it wrong to want to help someone who does not seem to care about you. My parents do not like him and I was not allowed to see him. I just want us to still be friends and see him one more time before I leave for college. Please help me because I do not see it being such a bad idea like my other friends do.

I ask a question 1 day ago but no one answered my question so now it's just sitting there. 2001 Nissan Altima GXE was fine until check engine light came on. DTC said MAF malfunction. Replace MAF and check engine light off. But car now still slow at accelerating and has poor engine power. Feels like the car is towing an extra load even when cruisng with foot off the pedal. Brakes are fine. Replaced plugs, air and fuel filter, distributor cap/rotor and wires. Car does not sputter. Just overall sluggishness at any speed and RPM. Thanks for any help.
