Corpsepaint, yes. Makeup, no. =)
I don't think you need to wear heavy makeup, but I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing a little lip gloss, clear mascara, and sparkly eye-shadow.
Cheers.

If you are under 18 which in this case you are, you should be asking your parents this question. Since your legal guardians or your parents are responsible for you until you reach the age of majority, there will not be a correct answer for you here. I am sure that you and your parents can come to a comprimise though, lucklily there are makeup products out there that are very subtle and safe to wear.
Good luck!

You don't need make-up yet...
It could clog up your pores and cause acne...wait at least another year, than start experimenting for a while...
And remember, with too much goop on your face you could look like a kewpie doll...
Always do understatements...which means ...a little bit can go a long way. Practice at home in front of the mirror before you start wearing it outside, and ask your mom for help, she will probably love to do it!...I know I did when my daughter started wanting to wear make-up, we had fun together trying different colour shemes out!

im 12 and I think us girls should start using a LITTLE makeup. For example i use a little bit of golden brown eye cream foundation (sometimes) lipgloss and dark brown mascara. Do not use eye liner yuck! anyway the key is to make your makeup look like its almost not there but have enough makeup that it brings out your natural feautures.
P.s make sure you clean all your makeup off at night and use a cleanser

Sure you are, just not a whole lot. I started wearing make-up in seventh grade too. Just start out slowly. Just wear mascara for a bit, then try stuff like eye shadow and lip gloss, or light grey eyeliner. (just not all at once)

I think that at age 12 the most makeup you should be wearing is lipgloss and maybe eyeshadow/mascara. If you wear the full blown makeup (foundation, mascara, eyeshadow, blush, eyeliner, lipstick/lipgloss) you'll look like you're trying too hard. You're young!!! Don't try to look older!!!

I'm 16 and I don't wear make-up. It really isn't my style. But if you want to, just wear a little bit of lipgloss and stuff like that, that way you'll still look natural. If I were you I'd wait some years to wear heavier stuff, but that's just my opinion.

i started to wear lipgloss in the 8th grade. when i got a little older, i started to wear eyeshadow and a little blush. i would not wear too much makeup if i was you right now because you dont want your face to start breaking out. you still want to look good but natural.......... do you get what im saying???
