Nobody likes to hear it, but the only good thing to do for weight loss is eat right and excercise. Lots of leafy greens, and fruits. And excercise doesnt have to be lifting weights and running 10 miles, do something you enjoy, like ride a bike, go golfing, take a dance class, just keep moving!

It's much better to just do it the old fashioned way...diet and exersize. Basically, try to reduce your calorie intake by 250 cals, and take a 30 minute walk in the morning, and one at night if you want easy weight loss. It will be slow, though, since it take 3500 cals to take off a pound.

I've tried acupuncture and found the results disappointing. To lose weight, eat a healthy diet and get moderate exercise. Paying some dude good money to stick needles into you is not a good way to spend your money. Use it to join a health club or gym.

It depends on why you need to lose the weight. Chinese medicine treats specific metabolic conditions. If you're overweight because you eat too much, then it won't really help. If you're overweight because your metobolism makes you overweight, then perhaps it will.

It's not a bad thing, anyway, as long as you go to a good, trusted, skilled accupuncturist.
