Going to school for Judicial Reporter, anyone think that's lame???

I am going to school to become a Judicial Reporter. My friends think it's stupid because it's not a recognized career. I really enjoy working with police officers because I've done it in the past, but for some reason they think it's lame. I really think I should finish scool and get it over with. But, they think I'm going to get bored in that profession. Starting salary is 40K. I am really looking forward to graduation but, no one else is...

Am I a BIGOT for having an opinion?? Re: GAYS What do YOU think?

Okay, I work in a college that is very liberal, I'm one of few Christians here (even though it's a Christian college) Here's my thing, I am doing a speech for class against gay marriage. This is my personal opinion, that's all. Now, I don't hate gays, I've had gay friends, boss's and even relatives, all of whom I love I just don't agree with their choice of lifestyle (and yes, it is a choice to act upon the sin of sexual immorality) BUT, a professor here told me that I was narrow-minded and a bigot for having this opinion. I think he is wrong. I have strong beliefs and yet he (and others on yahoo answers ) seem to think I'm a hater because I think homesexuality is wrong, I agree with God Almighty when it comes to homosexuality. So, am I a bigot?

should i call?

i haven't talked to this guy i like in about 4 days. i keep waiting for him to call me but he still hasn't. when we do talk it's because i called him. our conversations are great, we laugh, we flirt, we even talk about serious things. i thought he liked me, but he cant even pick up the phone and dial my number. should i call him?? or would that be too desperate looking?
