The doozers revolted and ceased all construction on the set. A general strike was called and when all of the doozers were picketing outside of Fraggle Rock, the trash heap ate every last one of them.

That's really a question for the networks; maybe the show didn't make the ratings or there could have been licensing issues. Remember, the show aired it's full five seasons on HBO, and then had Re-runs on other channels up until a couple of years ago.

Same as what happened to Tales Along The Riverbank, Toppogigio and all the rest. Lack of ratings/funds/interest I guess. Can get videos/dvds of some of them though, can't you?

when a show is new it is popular for that span of time...and as the popularity slows it is mopved to a less active time slot and soon moved to extinction....but soon look for it on one of the cartoon station(s)...(e.g.) " Cartoon Network, Spirit , Boomerang , Toon Disney etc."
