If someone smokes they are killing themselves and that is wrong. If someone does drugs then they are killing themselves as well and that is wrong. People look down on other people who do these things. So, my question is, why do obese people (those who don't have glandular problems) get a break if they are killing themselves too. Obesity causes heart disease, COPD, diabetes, and joint problems to name a few. It also has been classified as a disability (in other words obese people can use tax dollars that everyone pays to cover their physical inadequecies). If the others who do things to themselves are looked down on so badly for killing themselves, why are obese people given such a break?
