I live inland in the South of Spain. I know there is work on the coast for the English in bars and restaurants. You can also advertise to be a live in domestic. Stay clear of time share, you only get paid commission and then your employer will try to get out of paying. There is a place in fuengirola called Costa club that employs English and has some apartments that you can rent off them. Also look in the local English papers most have websites. SUR in English, Town Crier, Euro Weekly, Friday Ads.
Or there is always a Kibutz you can find out all about it in your local library or on the internet. They do have age restrictions.

Well, actually I was in the same spot as you are in just last November. Though I had the feeling about getting out of America....
Currently I'm teaching English to little kids in South Korea... and I'm not even a licensed teacher!! All you have to have is a Bachelor's degree and you can travel- and get paid for it! - by going to countries like China, South Korea or Japan.
Other countries offer the same, but you need a certificate or license to teach English in places like Europe or South America.
The paid is good too (about $2,000 USD a month, no rent and just utilities to pay). If you are interested, contact me, and I could definately hook you up with a job teaching in South Korea!
