I think my boyfriend values his bestfriends more than me.He hasent known them more than 6 months and we've known eachother 3 years.Today is our 4 month aniversery.And I think he forgot...Everytime i ask him not to do something (ie drugs, drinking) i rub off as the controling girlfriend b*tch.But everytime he asks me not to do something (ie hang out with x-bf's who are still good friends) he rubs off as "worried"and "concerned".(I dont do drugs or drink or any of that so its not an issue for me).But his friends hate me cause HE decided to quit and im making him keep up with that promise to himself.We're also pre-engaged and have alot planned out,but he always asks them for their opinions about OUR problem!Should i just let this go?Or should i say something to him?

I am a long time feminist and at one time was an activist. I simply believe that women are just as fully human as men and as such, deserve equal rights. Of course here in uptight conservative, Victorian USA we still don't have them. Consider this, the scarfed, long dressed Muslin women are even allowed to go into grad school in math and sciences and Medical school, while we still discourage our little girls from developing their natural talents in this area. Women are still getting paid less and still denied the top of the line jobs. But...and women get this, if you do agree you deserve all the rights can you accept the responsibilities as well? Can you stop relying on "flirting' and cutesy behaviors to get by with the guys and start doing it all, blood, sweat and tears on the job. As for me I have paid my dues and have done it all. So I find it very shameful when I get treated with a lack of respect while my male counterparts are considered wise for their accumlated experience.

How about 2 new Y.A. "members only" Categories, divided into subcategories? Interested people identify themselves (via two optionally answered questions at registration time) as 1 faith: Roman Catholic, Wiccan, KJVonly, Jewish, Atheist, Born-Again Christian, Muslim (subdivided into Sikh, Sunni), Hindu, Buddhist, Eastern Orthodox Christian, LDS, Jehovah’s Witnesses etc. & 2 politics: Conservative, Socialist/Communist, Liberal, or Libertarian. Yahoo would store this information and it would enable members who had identified themselves as belonging to one of those subcategories to ask and answer questions classified into one of those subcategories. Anybody would be able to READ the discussions, but insulting, irrelevant, or unlearned remarks (and hence COMPLAINTS TO THE MODERATORS) would be reduced, and quality of the discussions elevated. Debate could still take place in other categories, but there'd be a place for discussion among like minds. Rude "posers" would be easy to spot.
